Privacy policy

This page names every third party the guide loads, the storage this guide controls, and how Reject turns the tracking off. It describes the build published on 4 Nov 2026.

Who we are

The guide at baperrasta.net. Contact [email protected]. We are not Omar Faruqe Riyad and we do not run baperrasta.com. This policy covers this guide only; the play page has its own policy.

What loads by default

Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load on the first screen for a visitor with no stored choice. The cookie bar appears while those tags start; Reject is available immediately. Pressing Reject turns them off and stores that choice for 180 days. A browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track is treated as Reject. YouTube is described below; its player opens when you press play.

Google Analytics 4

Google Analytics 4 is served from googletagmanager.com and sends measurement requests to google-analytics.com. It records page views, approximate location, device and browser, and interaction events to count visits and guide usage. Google documents the default GA4 cookies _ga and _ga_<container-id> with a two-year default expiration; browser settings can shorten that period. This is provider documentation, not a claim that every browser sets those cookies. Reject sends analytics_storage: denied. Google’s policy: Google privacy policy.

Microsoft Clarity

Microsoft Clarity is served from clarity.ms and can use bing.com endpoints. It records clicks, scrolls, page layout, heatmaps and session replays to identify usability problems. Its documented cookies include _clck, _clsk, ANONCHK, MR, MUID and SM; actual storage depends on browser and service behavior. Clarity documents ordinary recordings retained for 30 days, with favorites and sampled recordings retained for up to 9 months. Heatmap storage has a separate lifecycle; this guide does not assign it the recordings’ 30-day period. Reject stops the Clarity tag. See Clarity retention documentation and Microsoft privacy statement.

Adsterra

Adsterra serves the Native Banner and Social Bar placements using bicea.org and advertising delivery partners. Adult ads are disabled in this site’s placement configuration. The advertising service can use browser storage for frequency control, invalid-traffic detection and creative delivery. Cookie names, delivery hosts and retention can vary by creative, so this policy does not give an invented fixed list or expiration. Reject stops the advertising scripts and hides the floating placement. See Adsterra privacy policy.

YouTube

Video preview pictures are hosted by this guide. Pressing play creates a privacy-enhanced player from www.youtube-nocookie.com; playback can contact YouTube and Google video delivery services, including googlevideo.com and ytimg.com. These services receive the network information needed to deliver the video and may use browser storage according to their policies. The player is requested only after this click. After Reject, the button opens the public YouTube watch page in a new tab instead. See YouTube privacy-enhanced embedding and Google privacy policy.

Your choice: br_consent

Key name: br_consent, in this site’s local storage, not a cookie. Value: granted or denied plus a time stamp. Retention: 180 days, then the bar can show again. Purpose: remember your choice and whether the tags above may run. Reject, or a browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, stores denied. Cookie settings in the footer opens the bar again. Clearing site data for baperrasta.net deletes the key.

The floating ad close button: br_social_closed

The Adsterra Social Bar has a local close button labelled “Close advertisement”. Pressing it stores br_social_closed in this site’s local storage for 180 days, hides the bar for the rest of the visit and stops the Social Bar script from loading again while the key is valid. This is separate from br_consent: closing the bar does not change your analytics or ad choice. Clearing site data removes it and the bar may return.

Other third parties

No consent-management platform, traffic-mesh banner SDK or social embed is loaded. The cookie bar is part of this site. Fonts are files we ship, not a call to a font service. The only other network requests are to our own host and to the services named above.

Your requests

Email [email protected] to ask what this policy says we hold, or to tell us to drop a message you sent. The keys above live only in your browser; we cannot delete them from our side. We do not sell personal information and we have no account system. Where the law gives you a right of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, write to that address and we will answer it.

Changes to this policy show a new date at the top of this page. The date on this version is 4 Nov 2026.

Questions

Do you use cookies?

Yes. GA4, Microsoft Clarity and Adsterra load by default; this page separates site storage from provider-documented storage. The guide itself stores br_consent and br_social_closed in local storage for 180 days.

How do I turn tracking off?

Press Reject in the cookie bar, or open Cookie settings in the footer and choose Reject. That removes the Clarity and Adsterra scripts and sends analytics_storage: denied to GA4. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track are treated as Reject.

Do you show adult ads?

No. The Adsterra website is configured with adult ads off, and the guide loads only Native Banner and Social Bar placements.
